Condition survey

Condition survey / Condition assessment

The performance, safety and health of structures and HPAC equipment is studied in a condition survey, as far as it is possible without destroying the structures.

A condition survey is always case-specific and a result of the particular moment when the survey is performed.

Content of a condition survey

A condition survey can be ordered by the owner or occupant of a building or dwelling, a real estate agent, or the buyer of a building or dwelling. A written agreement is always made between the customer and the service provider.

The customer is in charge of providing the required documents concerning the building or dwelling. Studying these documents initiates the actual condition survey. The survey will take 2 to 6 hours, depending on the building.

The results are compiled in a written condition survey report which is delivered to the customer.

The results of the condition survey and study are documented. The document specifies the condition class of the building or dwelling. The customers receive the material for their use and the service provider stores the material for ten years.
